Announcing International Gifts on Goody for Business

We're thrilled to announce that international gifts are now live on Goody for Business! For the first time ever, senders can deliver thoughtful business gifts to teams, customers and business partners in more than 140 countries worldwide.

How international gifts work on Goody

International gifting is available to customers on our Pro or Employee Engagement business plans, which start at $20/month.

To find gifts that ship globally or to a specific country, simply visit the Browse page on Goody and toggle the flag icon. You can choose the region you're gifting to, or see gifts that ship to all of our 140+ supported countries.

When you send international gifts, you can choose between physical gifts or gift card options. (As always, you pay only if your recipient accepts.) 

- Physical gifts include a curated selection of brands that ship safely around the world, like Therabody, Ember, Paravel and many more. When you send physical gifts, there may be additional costs for shipping, duties and tariffs, depending on the destination and gift. (Shipping a heavy object to the Philippines will cost more than shipping a lightweight one to Canada.) However, Goody caps these costs at $50 per gift, and senders will never pay more than that.

- Gift cards are a great alternative for companies that want to avoid the cost and time of international shipping. We've added thousands of local gift card options that you can send instantly. Recipients can swap for other gift card options if they prefer — all in their local currency.

When your international recipients receive a Goody, they'll be able to swap it for physical gifts or gift card options that are available in their region. For example, if you send someone in the UK a Theragun Mini, the recipient could swap it for a Valleybrink Road Self-Care Spa Bundle, or for a GBP gift card at UK-based retailer.

Since we launched Goody for Business in 2021, the most requested feature from our customers has been consistent: International gifts. Again and again, Goody users said that finding and sending gifts for global teams is a logistical and administrative nightmare.

Yet the challenges of scaling Goody's gifting solution to 140+ new countries were also formidable. How do you provide high-quality gift options that can ship to five continents? How do you ensure that the core benefits of Goody, like allowing users to swap gifts for alternative options, remain consistent for international recipients?

It took us some time, but we figured it out.
