Founded in 1949, UCP is a national service provider and advocate that promotes the independence and inclusion of people with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Through its network of local affiliates, it serves more than 160,000 children and adults each year with programs like early intervention therapies, job coaching, residential support, and assistive technology grants. UCP was also a key force behind the Americans with Disabilities Act.
